My stacking teacups were recently chosen for a small ceramics show at the San Rafael Library. We use them often, so I needed to clean them first!
Pinch pots formed from low fire clay, then sculpted. Exterior is crackle glaze with India ink. Interior is a crackle glaze.

A few years ago, I hung this piece of raw cotton canvas on my living room wall. The thought was that instead of creating lots of little paintings, every time I got the itch to paint, I would doodle on the wall instead. Working with an overall theme, there was never a final vision. A bit of “graffiti style”. After more than a decade, I’m jumping back into Life Drawing. Oh how I’ve missed it! When drawing from a live model, you always start with quick poses (2 minutes) to get fast and loose. Then progress to longer poses (5-20 minutes).
